In an informative session with influential and new media, the White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, indicated that one of the priorities of President Donald Trump is to approve the reconciliation, and that the president is discussing the bill with the president of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, in the Oval Office on Monday.
“It is a big problem. We have to do it. He is working closely with Congress. In fact, he is meeting with President Johnson, I believe, in a few minutes today, in the oval office, to discuss this bill and measure,” Leavitt said.

She said they are “very safe” the package “will include more funds for the construction of the border wall and mass deportations.”
Trump also wants to see “the tax cuts approved in this reconciliation package that does not include taxes on tips or social security taxes, without tax on extra hours, there are no social security taxes for our elders,” he added.
