President Donald Trump told NBC News last week that he will have an “important statement” to do with respect to Russia on Monday, since he expresses a growing frustration with Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Trump refused to prepare what the announcement would be, but said during the same interview that he expected the Senate to approve a measure to impose more sanctions on Russia.

Trump also shared with NBC which said it was a new agreement between the United States, NATO and Ukraine on the shipment of weapons. The president said Sunday that his administration would provide more “sophisticated” teams to help Kyiv in his defense against Russian attacks.
