President Donald Trump, who greeted British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Scotland, expressed his frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin and said he would reduce the 50 -day timeline that gave Russia to accept a peace agreement with Ukraine.
“I would have said five times that we would have had a deal. I have spoken a lot with President Putin. I always got along with him very well … We thought we had settled on numerous occasions. And then President Putin goes out and begins to launch rockets to a city like kyiv and kill many people in a nursing house or whatever, you have bodies that are found in the entire street,” Trump said.

“I am disappointed with President Putin, very disappointed in him,” Trump continued. “So we will have to look, and I will reduce those 50 days that I gave to a smaller number, because I think I know the answer of what is going to happen.”
It was July 14 that Trump threatened severe tariffs in Russia if there was no high fire agreement within 50 days. Trump on Monday did not say how much the timeline would reduce.
