Multiple areas are expected to have dangerous heat and fire climate problems this weekend with more than 35 million Americans alert for dangerous heat.

Extreme heat warnings remain in force for Phoenix, Arizona, Palm Springs, California and lower elevations in the Grand Canyon National Park. The high temperatures will have re -entered the 100 and will rise to 115 places during the weekend.

Heat notices are also in force on Saturday for other dispersed areas of the southwest, with more generalized heat notices that extend through the plains as heat begins to expand.

The places under these heat notices include: Albuquerque, New Mexico; El Paso and Dallas, Texas; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Little Rock, Arkansas; Wichita, Kansas; Springfield, Missouri; and Kansas City, Missouri.

High temperatures between 100 and 110 are possible for these areas on Saturday. The high record temperatures are possible for Albuquerque, New Mexico and Flagstaff, Arizona, later on Saturday.

The extreme heat reached its maximum point on Friday for parts of the southwest desert and is expected to relieve this weekend.

There are also meteorological alerts of fire in places of four states in the west, Oregon, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming, so that the critical climatic conditions of fires maintain a strong support point on the weekend.

The moisture of a single digit and the racing winds are possible, which will be conducive to the rapid propagation of the fire with any new or existing forest fire in these areas.

While the extreme heat and worries of the fire climate persist for selected parts of the southwest this weekend, both will generally continue to decrease until the beginning of next week.

Heat is also accumulating in the northwest, where there is an extreme heat warning for Medford, Oregon, as well as Eugene A Portland, Oregon.

Other areas of the northwest are under heat notices this weekend for high temperatures between 93 and 112, as well as low temperatures that only reach the 60s and 70s. These areas include Spokane, Washington; Lewiston, Idaho; LongView, Washington; and Mount Shasta, California.

Next week, the general heat will return to the northeast and much of the country.
