Charlie Kirk firing the conditions of the suspect for surrender had to be "Gentiles": Sheriff

Tyler Robinson, the suspect who was accused in the shooting of Charlie Kirk, was arrested in what he needed to be “soft” when the authorities were delivered, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s office.

At 8:02 PM of September 11, the Washington County Sheriff, Nate Brooksby, said he received a call from a retired detective, with Brooksby saying that “he could not understand” what would come out “out of his mouth.”

He told Brooksby: “I know who Charlie Kirk’s shooter is,” Sheriff said during a press conference on Wednesday.

Just before 10 pm that night, Robinson, his father and a close friend who previously worked in the police led together from Washington, Utah, to the Washington County Sheriff’s office in Hurricane, Sergeant. Lance Alfred, a Sheriff’s office spokesman, told ABC News.

During the trip, the family friend called the personal cell phone of the head of the Office of the Washington County Sheriff’s office to inform that the suspect was about to surrender, Alfred told ABC News.

Robinson, the 22 -year -old who was accused of aggravated murder on Tuesday, supposedly “knew that it was inevitable that they catch him” and that “he was afraid to be shot by the police,” Sheriff’s officials said Washington County during a press conference on Wednesday.

When Robinson arrived at the Sheriff’s office, he was taken to a marked building “only authorized personnel”, with Sheriff’s office staff notifying the FBI office of Salt Lake City and other local officials of the law of the arrival of the suspect, Alfred told ABC News.

Robinson remained in the offices of the Sheriff’s office and delivered to the FBI and other forces of the public order upon arrival, which was just before 6 in the morning on Friday.

It was described as “quiet and gloomy,” authorities said Wednesday. The authorities said they tried to make the conditions “Gentiles” and “invited” Robinson before the FBI and other forces of the order arrive.

Robinson was formally accused of aggravated murder on Tuesday, and prosecutors announced the intention of looking for the death penalty. He was also accused of discharge of a firearm that caused serious bodily injuries, obstruction of justice, two positions of witness manipulation and commission of a violent crime in the presence of a child, announced Utah County prosecutor Jeff Gray.

The suspect also made a brief appearance in the first court on Tuesday.

Hope Ledkins, a first -year student at the University of Utah Valley, told ABC News to return to class is a “very sad and very gloomy feeling.”

“This does not happen in OEM, Utah,” Ledkins said. “To make something like this happen, people feel really mixed about it.”

The allegedly confessed suspect to kill Kirk, said there’s “too evil”

The prosecutors offered more information about the murder and the alleged discussions of Robinson with the family and his fourth partner following the shooting.

After his father recognized Robinson in photographs published by the authorities, the suspect met with his parents and “implied that he was the shooter and declared that he could not go to jail and just wanted to finish it,” the loading documents said.

His parents then asked his son why he committed this crime, to whom he said: “There is too bad and the guy. [Charlie Kirk] It extends too much hate, “according to loading documents.

Exactly what Robinson supposedly referred to “hate” was not clear. The researchers noticed that Robinson’s mother told them that her son supposedly began to have a relationship with her roommate, who is making the transition, and had begun to bow to the left more politically, becoming “more oriented to rights rights”, but the document does not indicate the relevance of those rooms or if Kirk’s comments on those problems were a motivating factor.

Gray said he would let a judge determine whether the statements allegedly made by Robinson constituted a confession. On Tuesday, he refused to comment if Robinson has been cooperating or spoken to researchers.

Prosecutors also revealed text messages between the suspect and his roommate.

The day of the shooting, the fourth partner received a text message from the 22 -year -old who said: “Leave what you are doing, look under my keyboard,” according to the loading documents.

The roommate found a note under Robinson’s keyboard that said: “I had the opportunity to get Charlie Kirk and I will take it,” according to the loading documents.

Prosecutors also revealed additional conversations between the suspect and his room partner after the shooting.

“He had enough of his hatred. You can’t negotiate any hatred,” reads one of the messages.

Robinson’s fellow asked how long he had been planning this attack, to what he said “a little more than a week, I think,” according to loading documents.

As the suspect remains in custody without bail, the director of the FBI, Kash Patel, said that a “number of individuals” is currently being investigated that are linked to the discord of the suspect, a Messenger Platform of Group Chat where Robinson supposedly confessed that it was the shooter two hours before they stopped it.

“Hello guys, I have bad news for everyone … I went in Uvu yesterday. I’m sorry for all this,” reads one of the messages.

During a hearing of the Senate Judicial Committee on Tuesday, Patel said that “much more” than 20 people are linked to Robinson and that the FBI is investigating “anyone and all those involved in the Discord chat.”

Robinson’s next audience is scheduled for September 29.
