President Donald Trump gave mixed messages on Monday over the trade and his new deadline of August 1 for tariffs to enter into force.
Asked by Karen Travers of ABC News about the declared objective of his administration to reach 90 commercial agreements in 90 days, Trump, two days before the end of that 90 -day period, said that everything was “made” and seemed to equate the letters of fees that his administration began to send the complete agreements.

“Everything is done,” Trump said, adding: “We are going to say, welcome to the United States, if you want to participate in the largest and most successful country in history.”
Trump also pointed out that the time for negotiations is over.
“As regards me, we have finished. We are sending letters to several countries that tell them how many rates they have to pay,” Trump said.
However, when asked previously if the new deadline of August 1, the White House established so that these tariffs came into force was a firm and final date, Trump indicated that it was still flexible.
“I would say firm but not 100% firm,” Trump said.
When they were pressed if the tariff cards sent today to several countries were final offers, Trump did not offer any clarity.
“More or less final offer,” Trump said. “We are always subject to negotiating something that is fair, but we have talked to most countries and, more or less, their own have come out for many, many decades, as they know, and it was time that we only wanted justice.”
Until now, the Administration has only announced a commercial agreement with the Vietnam and Marco agreements with China and the United Kingdom.
