Trump narrates vertigating 24 hours from Iranian reprisals to the high fragile fire: timeline

The last 24 hours in the Israel-Iran War have been highlighted by the whirlwind diplomatic efforts of President Donald Trump, with the aim of being seen as a peacemaker in the midst of the conflict.

The world remained among the fears of climbing when Iran took reprisals against the United States to the surprise announcement of Trump’s high fire to his angry comments about early violations from both countries.

In particular, the president narrated the developments that change rapidly in real time in his conservative social media site, showing, in often personal terms, his style of the diplomacy of the merchants, and his growing frustration with both sides.

This is how the sometimes vertiginous sequence of events was developed.

Monday afternoon: Iran shoot missiles in the US military base in Qatar

The alarms were raised when Tehran, in response to US attacks against Iran’s nuclear facilities during the weekend, took reprisals on Monday by shooting missiles to the Air Base to the Udeid, the largest US military base in the region.

The attack reports arrived around 1 PM ET on Monday. The United States knocked down the missiles with the help of Qatar. No lesions or extensive damage were reported.

Although Trump had threatened a massive response if Iran took reprisals, which increased the fear of climbing, issued a statement in his social media account around 4 pm et calling the “very weak” attack and said it was “very effectively counteracted”, not to mention any military action.

“I am pleased to inform that no American was harmed, and almost no damage was done. The most important thing, they have taken everything out of their ‘system’, and, hopefully, there will be no more hate,” the president wrote. “I want to thank Iran for giving us an early warning, which made it possible for lives, and nobody is injured.”

“Maybe they will now be able to proceed to peace and harmony in the region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same. Thank you for your attention on this matter!” He wrote.

Monday night: Trump announces the high fire

The ET of 6:08 PM, Trump, in a bomb post, announced a high fire agreement that said the war would end within 24 hours.

The agreement described by Trump involved two periods of high 12 hours that would come “when Israel and Iran had decreased and completed their final missions in progress,” Trump wrote.

Iran would begin the fire during the first 12 hours, Trump said, and Israel would continue with a second fire of 12 hours. When that period ended, Trump said: “An official 12 -day war end will be greeted by the world.”

“It’s a great day for the United States. It’s a great day for the Middle East. I am very happy to have been able to do the job,” Trump told NBC News, taking credit. “I think the high fire is unlimited. He will go forever.”

Immediately after Trump’s announcement, however, neither Israeli nor Iranian officials publicly commented on the proposal.

At 1:08 am et, Trump published: “The high fire is now in force. Please, do not violate it!”

During the night: it informs that Israel and Iran continue to exchange fire

In the last hours before the high fire entered into force, Israel and Iran launched a missile flood. Israel said four people died and 20 wounds when Iranian missiles hit Beersheba. Iran said at least 15 people died on strikes throughout the country.

Then, fire reports exchanged in the opening hours of the Fire’s Fire came.

Israel said Iran violated the high fire agreement by launching missiles between midnight and 3:30 am et, which Israel said they were intercepted or fell into open areas. Iran denied shooting the missiles.

Israel then acknowledged that its Air Force “destroyed a radar installation near Tehran” in response to the alleged violations.

Tuesday morning: Trump attacks against Israel and Iran

In some surprisingly blunt comments, Trump showed his frustration with Iran and Israel when he left the White House around 6:30 am et to attend a NATO summit in the Netherlands.

“Israel as soon as we made the deal, a bomb ship came out that I had never seen before,” Trump said. “The biggest load we have seen, I am not happy with Israel. Ok, when I say that now you have 12 hours, do not leave in the first hour and simply leave everything you have about them. So, I am not happy with him. I am not happy with Iran either.”

Although he accused both nations of violating the high fire, much of his anger was directed to Israel, in a rarely heard language of a president in public.

“Basically we have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what they are doing. Do you understand that?” A visibly angry Trump told ABC News senior political correspondent, Rachel Scott, when asked if both nations were committed to peace, before moving away to address their marine helicopter.

Shortly after, he triggered a warning to Israel on social networks, in all capital letters, to stop attacking Iran.

During the morning, Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said familiar sources with the call to ABC News. A White House source, in a call reading, said Trump was firm and direct with Netanyahu about what was necessary to keep the fire.

“Israel is not going to attack Iran. All airplanes will turn around and go home, while making a” friendly plane wave to Iran. No one will hurt, the high fire is in force! ” Trump wrote.

Once aboard Air Force One, on his way to the Netherlands, he told journalists that he was not thinking of consequences for Israel when he warned against reprisals, claiming that “they did nothing” due to their publication on social networks.

The Office of the Israeli Prime Minister said in a statement that Israel “abstained additional attacks” in Iran after the conversation between Trump and Netanyahu.

Iran said that the fire will not violate the fire unless Israel does, according to Iran’s state media.
